Feudalism - Kings and Vassals

Description
Feudalism; is about fiefs, conquest and domination.
The 2 first players spawn as Monarchs, each claiming to be the rightful heir to the sole throne of the land on both sides of the river, their main objectives would be to build Castles nearby the surrounding villages to seize control of them and tax them for resourches and possibly troops.
The 4 latter players, (which can both be players and computers) start as a fairly standard spawn build, with no walls nor militia, only peasants, open fields with trees, game and minerals. they'll start free but vulnerable to raiding and subjecting. Your objectives are more varied however, you can choose to cooperate with your closest monarch, try to stay independent from the Monarch, or even betray and assassinate the monarch. The fee of which one must pay for cooperation would be heavy taxes but also protection. The fee for independance could be preasure from all sides and most likely elimination. The fee for assassination would be to play along as a ally of the monarch, until you have the means and planing for assassination, but in the end would most probably subdue to the rival monarch, or fight independantly till your last peasant.

Best scenario i've found. I've played it with friends and its so awesome that we edited for 8 players all humans. Full recommended.

Hmmm... I have already done something similar to this with another version of my Brytenwalda map, a pity it has since been erased being on another, older computer. Also starting as mere comments like these, but we modded it and it turned out very well. Yes this could be cool again :)

However, i don't konw when i'd get the time to do something like this again, but will give it second thoughts. :AOESheep: :AOESheep: :AOESheep:

On a giant ludikris map this could be like an actual empire game. Limit the kings to have less population then the barbarians. For example, the kings could have 200 pop while the barbarians will have 300 pop and stronger attack on units. The only drawback on barbarian is that castle age would be max. They should still be allowed all blacksmith techs to make them more powerful foes. There would be games were the Kings would team up to destroy barbarians first so the only way to avoid that is to make the barbarians a powerful foe. This seems like a lot, I wish i could help but I don't know crap about making Aoe scripted maps. I know how to code but i am pretty sure that doesn't translate over. Of course this is all your choice to make, but i just think it would be a really cool idea. Excuse my english, I am very bad at speed writing blocks of text(certain things might be jumbled or repeated)

I have some ideas for the mod. Maybe you could not make there be vassals that are players. have there be villages around the map and the king's colonize them by building castles(maybe towers). There could be towns that give like 100 gold every 5 mins, or towns that give 300 food every 5 mins and the same with wood. Now here is where the locations of the towns come into play. The food ones and the wood ones will be easily accessible while the gold ones are near a mountain range in which there is a person, or maybe multiple who play as barbarians who can go and raze your colonies for gold(of course simply destroying the tower and not the actual town). I was guessing there could be 1 barbarian for every 2 kings.

lol, i just played a match and got rekt by the peasants late game. All my peasants were revolting, then the Blue king came over and rekt me just as soon as i had almost won the battle

I really like the idea of this, i just wish there was either more peasants or another king along with 1 more peasant
Kings being the in the corner and peasants being in center of map
