Report a translation problem
Put any block in your hand and then point at the block that you want to be the centerline of your ship. Point like you're going to attach the block, but instead of clicking the mouse when the target block turns red, press the M key.
You will see a red plane come up. Everything built on one side of that plane will be mirrored on the other. If that is what you want, click the mouse button and then hit escape. If the mirror plane is not where you need it, keep pressing M to cycle through the options and press the mouse button when you see the right one.
You can combine the red, green and blue planes for fancy mirroring, but start simple. Mirroring left-to-right with just one plane is what you usually need anyway.
While building use the N key to temporarily turn mirroring on and off if you need to.
