These pirate raiders have become a real nuasance to commercial shipping, lately. They are armed to the teeth, and have plenty of cargo space for stolen goods.

Only saving grace to the rest of civilized space, is that the pirates don't have the funds, or technology to armor their ships with heavy armor. This combined with the fact that most pirates don't really have a fleet of these ships, nor experienced or well trained pilots to fly them, means that only easy targets are raided. Heavily armed / armored targets with plenty of escorts, are usually left alone.
