Yokuyin's Turbo Roundabout

A Turbo Roundabout is a roundabout suited for intersections where a secondary road crosses a main road. Use this roundabout if you expect most traffic following the main road, with a relatively low amount of traffic going from the main road to the secondary road or entering via the secondary road.

This is a relatively new type of roundabout, and is these days quite common in some European countries. Because drivers are forced to choose a lane before entering the roundabout, many conflicting paths are eliminated which improves the flow of traffic. One downside is that it is not possible for traffic from a secondary road to make an U-turn.
