Report a translation problem
Not in the same way as you describe but they do get bugged which kind of confirm that it's a "feature" of the game rather than a bug directly related to my mod in particular.

The npc end up frozen in an idle pose and is unkillable/unlootable or any other interaction.
Do the character fall on the ground like an essential character or do they literaly take no damage at all? At what point in the fight? was the npc doing something special upon starting up the fight like mining or using an alchemy workbench?
The only reason i can see for the gauntlet to prevent a character from dieing would be if some how the pushing effect was interupting improperly a npc's activity causing the npc's entity to still believe the npc is practicing said activity in which an invulnerability state may be applied to the npc. But that would mean you could reproduce the bug by fus ro dah a npc in the same condition and cause that npc to become invincible.
In which case it would be bethesda's fault. Which i doubt cause the game is so old by now this bug would have been found and fixed already.
