Don't. Trust. Anything.

Big thanks to Qubic for letting me use Illusions as a base!

yup, jumping from left transfer wall to checkpoint is way easier and faster indeed :') thanks man :P still like the map :P running it on public servers for shits and giggles now

You could jump to the inside... Or you could be clever and not jump down to that platform at all :)

A long jump from the wall before it will get you straight to the next checkpoint

I have cleared the map a few times now and must say, i really like the difficulty of it. The only jump im having a struggle with is at the start. First you got the huge leap. then wall-ride right, transfer to wall-ride left, and then onto a platform ended witha purple barrier strip... now... how is the best way to go from here? So far, what i do is i just jump full into the purple, back out. and then take the outside of the right wall. and jump from there into the checkpoint...i feel like i should take the inside, but how the hell would you ever mange that one!?

Really liked the difficulty on this one, specially on the second obstacled transfer on the first vertical section, which I think is a novelty(forcing you to do a vertical opposite transfer diagonally).

My only issues are that at the very first jump you can't see that the blue is to the right until you've already commited to the jump (maybe make a blue extension that can be seen from before the jump or a faint blue arrow), and that the portal to the end is blue when we just accepted orange and there's an orange portal above it (which admittedly I didn't try to reach). Either make the orange portal after/above the blue one the true goal, or make the true goal a green portal, just to fuck more with the player.

Clever level, was pretty enjoyable once I figured out how it was supposed to work.

That said it lacks some of the proper visual cueing that 'illusions' uses to set up its obstacles before hand so they didn't require memorization to pass.

The very first jump doesn't give you a clear view of the track ahead of time to actually know where you should be aiming for or any kind of understanding of the whole "don't trust orange" message, at least until it's already too late.

The vertical transfer doesn't really have any indicators that you should be aiming for the tower climb either, I honestly figured it out by accidentally hitting the checkpoint and getting respawned on the wall.

Granted these technically shouldn't need any real warning, but the purple colored obstacles are introduced in the middle of a segment that can be considered an obstacle on it's own, without any heads up. I feel like it wouldn't hurt to have an intro to purple objects due to the nature of the track.

I honestly feel like this level relies to much on both prior knowledge of the track and having played 'illusions'. Otherwise it was a fun challenge track with a clever theme.

This level gave me PTSD. I now have flashbacks whenever I see blue and orange next to one another.

10/10 would play again.

Not to fond of this one. The biggest issue i have with this is that the track, pulses into visability with the bass of the music, and if you are playing with custom music (as i did on the experimental branch) the track can very easily become completely invisible if your song has very little bass. In short, I could not get past the first jump, as i could not see where i was jumping to.

Appropriately set to nightmare difficulty. Satisfying to white-knuckle yourself onto the top 10 of the global leaderboard, but not something I would choose to play with others.

Let me explain this track in a way you would all understand: It's like Rough Sex. It makes you a mess, it's painful, and even annoying. But in the end it's all worth it.

But in all seriousness, this map is great. 10/10
