(STS) Cape Canaveral V 1.0

Description
Welcome to the STS - Struppey's and Tatz' Scenario!
This is a tribute to the NASA and their Shuttle Transportation System.

A planet-based version of this is available now!

--> To help you understand and use all the ships and vehicles in this world,
we created a Guide <--

(You can still find the PDF file in my Google Drive here[drive.google.com]

Note:
This world can cause lag on some pcs. If you want to have the "empty" world with all ships removed and only the buildings (which will increase performance a lot) just look here

We (which are a team of 2 science, aviation and spaceflight fans) put a lot of work into this
project and had to deal with tons of problems concerning the realization of our goal: We
wanted to build realistic, high quality models of the Shuttle Transport System!
Of course, there are some really good models of Space Shuttles in the steam workshop. But
most of them are not the correct scale or not really functional (apart from their flying
ability). So we decided to build our own Space Shuttle. Soon, this became a much larger
project than we actually planned, when we started it in October ‘14. Little by little we
decided to the entire Space Transportation System and whole earth based environment
which is necessary to launch a spaceflight. We realized that nobody else before tried to
build the Kennedy Space Center including the buildings and the vehicles and wanted to
create this as accurate as we could but still on a playable base. And this is the result: The
Kennedy Space Center with VAB, the Launchpads, the runway, Crawler, Orbiter, External
Tank with Boosters and more!

We want to thank the countless people who took the pictures and drew the sketches we
used to build all the ships and buildings, Google Earth for providing detailed satellites
images, Keen Software House for developing Space Engineers, the NASA and their partners
for inventing and building the Space Transportation System, our test‐slaves Maro and Magic-Max
that we used to test the world as our old laptops and PCs are too slow and of course all our
fans who downloaded our work!
Have fun and please rate and comment our project! We are sure that there is still a lot to
improve!

Greetings
Struppey and Tatz

See our Guide if you have any problems or questions. I wrote this years ago as a PDF-file

OK thanks

The cause is unclear, however you can walk (as a spider) to a medical bay and choose the avatar "astronaut" there

Thank you! What was the solution the problem has occurred in a couple of games
Struppey  [author] 10 Nov, 2017 @ 5:46am
Solved it with the help of the community - you are now an astronaut again :D
Nevertheless I would recommend you to use our planet-based version of the STS (link above in the description)
Have fun!

What the........
Okay I have never seen this before. I posted it in the Keen Forums.
Anyone else with this problem? Has anyone experienced this earlier?
I do not check the world on a regular base so I have no idea when and how this happened...

Looks good, losds up but for some reason the avatar is a spider instead of a spaceman. Is that by design?

The much smaller planet-based version is now online ;)

You should try making a similar one using hydrogen engines for use with planets

As this world is almost 2 years old I was not sure if it still works. But I tried today without any problems. Nice to know, that a lot of people still like it!
@runzik: You will find this world by selecting "Workshop" - not "Load World"
Be aware that we are working on a planet-based STS at the moment, with completely redesigned ships as there were a lot of updates in the meantime - so stay tuned ;)
