Volcano Crater

Volcano Crater is a map created with the idea of a circular town not built on a flat land but in a cool, good-looking and challenging location.
All the circular cities around here take place in flat and large maps without personality, here you have the chance to mix your creative side with a great city planning!
You start in the central tile, in the middle of the crater, with a lake on the side and great hills going all around. You can also expand south to reach the fallen part of the crater which sank into the ocean giving you access to water transportation.

- The whole map is handmade, using advanced heightmap editing, tablet drawing and with a final addition of natural imperfections.
- Concave design, to give your city a unique look from every angle, whether you decide to build it circular or not.
- Stunning views and natural landscapes, Volcano Crater is a true paradise featuring a great waterfall, a lake, small islands at the end of the river, hills, mountains and a big coast.
- All resources available, oil and ore are on the edge tiles, agriculture and forest are more focused in the middle starting area.
- All transportations available, two highways, railroad, two air lines and two sea lines.

There isn’t really a strict guide to build your city in Volcano Crater, the nature of the map itself will help you building a circular multi-level city. The challenge is to make it good-looking with a good transport grid, be careful placing highways and following the map curves.
Anyway, the city you will build will look beautiful in this context.
