Reduced Normal Drops (v.5)

Description
My attempt to solve the lootsplosion crisis.

Reduces white drops from enemy kills (to none) and increases gold drops. Currently doesn't affect chest, champions, etc. Just normal enemies.

Many mods reduce white drops, but currently they all do a lot more. This mod is intended to simply reduce normal drops.

I do not guarantee compatibility with any other mods. However, I have only modified the treasure.dat file and the globals.dat file, so it shouldn't cause any serious problems. If you experience issues, feel free to let me know, and if I can do anything about it, I'll try.

Furthermore, I don't entirely understand the values, and welcome constructive feedback.

White drops from enemy kills have been reduced to 0% of drops (in globals.dat). To counteract the ratio change, I've adjusted the balance of drops.

Original:

Reduced Normal Drops:

So, for loot from normal enemy kills:
18x gold
1/10th as many weapons and armor drops(but none of it will be white)
1/5 as many trinkets (but no whites)
About the same number of spells, scrolls, potions, and socketables.
About the same chance that a drop will be negated (turn out to be "None", if I understand this correctly).

Notably, this is only a fraction of the drops you will be getting (champions, bosses, chests, barrels, etc.).

I have made something similar to this mod which is also much simpler, so I doubt it would interfere in the ways I've seen people complaining about here. I don't have a Steam Workshop page setup yet but anyone interested can check it out on GitHub: https://github.com/tukkek/torchlight2-NoLootDrops

This mod also seems to cause most uniques to stop dropping

Because they are white drops, this mod eliminates the elemental ember drops, so I am mostly getting chaos ember, which I regard as pretty worthless.

80% Loot from chest its > ember chaos. I cant get another ember stones, only chaos. Also, from Pagoda im getting scroll for summon traded. Chance for scroll is extremly high. this destroy in-game economy :<

well, the idea I'm gunning for is to give white gear a better place in the game. Even then, some reduction in quantity would be nice. Good luck with your mod.

two other potential solutions come to mind (wish I could mod:) 1) scale white loot drops back the longer the player plays 2) significantly cut the requirements of white items and slightly cut the requirements of green items. The requirements of rarer gear stays as-is. This latter option may make rare gear feel too weak, but it would at least allow white gear a place in the game: as an easily equippable basic item without a lot of utility for those without a better option.
