Norse-Gael Culture

Description
Celtic and Norse Portraits are REQUIRED for this mod!

This mod adds a full Norse-Gael culture to the game, with melting pot events and unique portraits. Norse-Gael culture can appear when any Norse ruler controls Irish, Scottish, or Pictish territory. This culture is in the Celtic culture group, but still has access to Runestones and Huscarl retinues, as well as Gallowglass retinues. All titles in Ireland and Scotland from county tier and up have cultural names (barony tier may come). Norse-Gaels have unique portraits that use the base western face with Celtic features and Norse hair and beards, starwarsfan did that part. Hope you enjoy.

Side note; the unique portraits only work for Norse-Gaels created with ruler designer (by making it your Ethnicity, first page of ruler designer, celtic group) and the random courtiers you can invite with decisions (as long as your culture is norse-gael). Also the culture does not exist in any bookmark (though it should somewhere), you must make it appear by playing as Norse or using ruler designer. You can also use the command "culture norsegael" if you dont play ironman.

This mod will not be updated until the Final version of ck2.

blame paradox for ruining everything with patches.

In order to "update" this it basically needs to be completely redone from nothing. Not gonna happen, so tedious. It's not worth updating a mod when the "update" is actually "making the mod all over again". I dont have the time or patience to remake this mod every 2 weeks, sorry :(

patches and updates broke this a long time ago, at some point i came to the conclusion that this isnt worth fixing until they stop updating ck2.... At this point so much stuff has been changed i honestly have no idea what needs to be done to get things working correctly again. It's gonna be a while, i wish i could tell you what to do for a quick fix, but i dont think that's possible.

Is there anyway to update on my own unless you choose to update it? I just really fell in love with the concept of a norse-gael kingdom on the cold shores of Alba.

Noticed this on the "most popular of the week" page... For any new subscribers: If you want this mod to work properly, you must go back to an older version of ck2.. Cant remember what version exactly though. I will update this mod once the Final patch of ck2 is released.
