Description
Well, FTD seems to be slightly broken,or maybe it's just me, but the sreenshots won't upload.
The model itself is really slick, and it's the largest thing i've built so far, sitting pretty at under 2mil RP.

Standard armament constist of several subsytems, much like my Commissioner and Linebacker. In fact, it's best to think of it like a super-sized Linebacker. Balistic: 1 dual HEAP capital-class cannon, 1 medium cruiser AP cannon, and a low-profile destroyer-class cannon. Energy systems: Full LAMS suite, and dual Laser cannons, each with seperate systems for redundancy. Missile: 1 laser-guided Cruise Missile Silo, with a full rack of 20 missiles. Launch time is low for maximum saturation and damage. 1 laser-guided AA battery to fend off faster-moving aircraft. It's the same Launch System used for the Commissioner, repurposed for dedicated AAA duty.

Defenses inculde more armor than you can shake a stick at, Full strength-10 shields covering anything and everything, seperate LAMS stations, and Anti-laser dispersant smoke. Fleet Logistics systems are also present, making it a great flagship. An advanced FDD AI suite is also fitted standard, allowing for seperate targeting of aircraft.

Really, it's only weakness is fast moving/high altitude bombers, which is also the case for the Commissioner. Probably also subs.

The Baseline is the pinnacle of FDD shipyards, and will smack around just about any other vehicle. Top-of-the-ine defenses and fleet logistic systems make the Baseline the perfect flagship, if you can mamage to foot the bill.

yeah, i'm working on a small sub as well now, but i might've accidentially broke it a bit last night and bow the balance is all wonked up. at least i've got the concepts down though!

Finally got around to releasing those new ships? I need to finish off my defence cannons and update my space guns.

1a) The bigger the cannon (and barrel) the slower its elevation speed it. Most of the time it's good enough for anti-ship duty. You could instead of the elevation barrels use motorized barrels, which would offer quicker reaction times, but they sacrifice accuracy, and thes guns on here are all about accuracy. If you look closely, half the barrel runs through the back intread od mounting on the front. Just about everything about these cannons is about making a decent, compact cannon!
2)Honestly, if something gets to any ammo barells the ship is probably already doomed to begin with. I could probably shuffle them around, but it wouldn't make much of a difference i'd imagine. I don't really like ammo processors all that much. ammo barrels regenerate ammo for free, and the rate it's at right now seems to work just fine.

Great ship but i dont now if it's volontary but the canon are pretty slow to take an aim and make this make useless another point is the amunition which are stack on a single point maybe u can divise the number of ammo barrel by 2 and add ammunition processor for compense and make 2 emplacement for the ammo barrel because I test and if 1 shell hit them all the vital fonction of the ship are down .But this ship is very cool.
