I zoomed in on terrain.party to take it from 18km to 9km per side. The total size of Liberland is supposedly 7 sq km, and I ended up with about 7 squares for the "island". I'll keep the 2km x 2km rule in mind for future maps. I saw that you uploaded your own version. I'll give it a try.

I think you might have made it twice the size. From what I understand each square in the game is supposed to be 2km x 2km. The squares in terrain.party are 2km x 2km as well since there are 9 x 9 squares and thay are set to 18km by default.

The shapes on the map are accurate and taken from satelliete data on a site called terrain.party. Each square is 1km x 1km. The elevations are greatly exaggerated. I could not put enough trees on the map to be accurate either. Liberland's maximum elevation is about 5 m from what I can tell. I need to make some modifiactions to make the water flow correctly. The small "river" does not flow in real life.
