Cobb Encumbrance

Description
REQUIRES SKSE 1.7.2 or higher. Available at http://skse.silverlock.org.
REQUIRES SkyUI 4.1 or higher.
SUPPORTS FISS 1.21.

This mod scales your movement speed based on how much weight you're carrying around. The more you're carrying, the slower you travel. Using SkyUI's Mod Configuration Menu (MCM), you can configure this mod's settings and personalize it to your desires. If you have FISS installed, you can transfer settings across different save files.

Cobb Encumbrance was built from scratch with stability in mind, and it holds up to stress tests that cause other mods to fail silently. Among other things, I can teleport to Bethesda's "QASmoke" testing cell, walk up to some containers, and add several hundred kinds of items to my inventory in seconds; that makes other mods throw errors in the background, but Cobb Encumbrance keeps working as intended.

This is the first time I've uploaded a mod to Steam, so please let me know if something doesn't work properly.

----

Please keep in mind that this is a scripted mod. Due to how Skyrim's game engine works, all scripted mods leave data behind in your save files when uninstalled; leftover data can clog up Skyrim's engine and damage your play experience.

If you're not entirely sure whether you want this mod, I recommend trying it out for a short period of time first. If you give it a shot and decide it's not something you want, you can delete the save files you played with while the mod was installed.

----

Again, this mod requires SKSE (the SKyrim Script Extender). Once you install SKSE, you need to launch Skyrim through its launcher (skse_launcher.exe) in order for SKSE-based mods to use its functionality. If you start Skyrim through the standard Skyrim Launcher or through TESV.exe, then SKSE's functionality will not work, and neither will this mod.
