Vanilla Homing Missile

Description
Utilizing Alysius' Cruise Missile Script, this missile has basic tracking capabilities.

It was designed to be simply added to a ship in whatever number you desire, and then be launched by triggering the "MiniMissile Launch" timer block. In it´s current configuration, it will also be propelled by a gravity field for about 1 second.

It will not hit the target every time, with factors like speed, size and distance influencing the chance to hit. The missile might also miss the target on it´s first pass, and then come back half a minute later to impact.

The Missile is guided by the turret, so it will go straight until the turrets acquires a target. As defined by the turret options, the missile will go only after enemy largeship blocks.

Should the missile not work at all, your anti-virus software might have sandboxed the script or something along those lines. Restarting SE and deactivating the anti-virus software will help in such a case.



Update: Fixed an oversight due to which the missile wasn´t vanilla at all.

pretty cool, only if some how we could mod the ingame large missle luancher to fire cruise missiles like the ships in homeworld. well untill then it makes people do creative things well done sir XD

Since it´s fixed now, the missile shouldn´t need any setup at all, excluding a target. You might have to recompile, I don´t know about that.

Could you post more in depth setup instructions? Also, this is not fully vanilla, as it uses a modded gyro it seems, I can't tell because it doesn't paste with a gyroscope and the programmable block is not attached to the grid because of this :/
