Basically, you have to create the actual environment then scale it down. You might not need to turn it into a 3D skybox but it saves lots of space in the editor and adds the possibility of a scenes that can be much larger than hammer normally allows.

I'll give it a go, thanks :)

To make a 3D skybox, you first must develop the landscape around the area you want (each arena), then place a sky_camera in the exactly origin of the world. After that you select everything you added that you want to be part of the skybox then scale it down to 1/16 of the normal size. Finally, move the thing into its own little box out of the way of anything else. Tada! You should now have a working skybox! If there's any lighting issues, you'd be best to find a 3D skybox tutorial.

Thanks for the feedback! I need to figure out how to build a proper 3d skybox otherwise manually adding assets would make the map huge since there are 16 arenas.

The map looks great, but you can improve it by adding buildings and other details around the bridge so it feels like you're in the real world and not a floating platform. Other than that, the map is awesome!

I like the idea - you manged to make some tighter cover without making an afk/camping player impossible to see , which is usually the problem I see with most maps.

I would just suggest making it so players don't fall into the water and get stuck, either by making the rail taller or adding a ladder to get back up. Probably the taller rail option, so a player doesn't just sit in the water all round.
