Description
REQUIRES THE JEWEL OF THE NILE DLC!

...Its the eye...

The (finally) Final mappack of the Tennis project!

The 7Smoke Tennis is a project where 4 different mappers work together to create
a full 4 level campaign, each level in the campaign being made by a different mapper.

Each mapper has to pick up the story from the previous map and extend it in
whatever is in their mind, and combined makes for a different style and story
in each map. :)

Found any bug or suggestion? let us know in the comments!

If you got any specific comment for a specific map, please make sure to mention it so the
right mapper can pay attention to it.

This mod is a very mixed bag of levels with an odd story about a computer program becoming self-aware. I enjoyed the Tron-like ideas that reference other works while a level with boring platforms and flat terrain felt intentionally bad. At least the difficulty for one of these is finally approachable except for a corridor right before the final boss. Overall average difficulty on Normal with infinite ammo.

Good map pack. Noams has serious balance issues, I couldn't even beat it on easy lmfao

At least for the first 7/8 of the campaign, it was pretty good, I did liked the story better than in Round 2. On the other hand though, and it's made clear by other people too, the bridge scene in the fourth level was a nightmare, even on Normal; there were too many enemies at the same time and too little health to work with, I almost ragequit it because it's as if the game actively hated me, like why 30 Rockets at a time instead of the usual 50? Little nitpicks like that that adds up.

All in all, keep making these maps and please be more reasonable with the difficulty. If not for serious (let alone mental), for normal at least.

The funny this is that I killed the first boss (the one from round 1, big fire skeleton) after I managed to get past the first spawns with 100 loads. Then I had to do it all over again! This time with harpies! Are you fucking kidding me? I straightly enabled cheats to get to boss since I wouldn't have patience for that all over again. I don't think I could have made it anyway since there were even more monsters.
Moving on to the boss battle. It was monotonous. All you had to do was to fly around, dodge his 1shot ray and spam cannon. I'm not saying I could have done better, but it was pretty overwhelming for a final boss battle. The first and second round boss sequences were more challenging (except the after spawns that drove me insane).
Also, is the game meant to crash if you kill the eye at the end? Cause that's what happened. I found that pretty funny, one of the few positives of this level.

The fourth map... Well... I felt like this map was balanced for tourist difficulty. The amount of monsters was not only insane, but some of them felt so out of place. Those little scorpions shoot khnum fireballs for Christ sake?? The early rooms were lets say ok in difficulty. I only needed to load a few times, after all it's serious difficulty and the challenge was there.
However, the bridge scene.......... that was horrible. Firstly, the space was extremely small and you could barely dodge projectiles. Secondly, the eyes that spawn from sides were the most annoying since they would sit in front of you blocking your vision until you killed them. You had to pay attention to 5 different types of monsters, 2 of which 1shot you on serious difficulty. It was anything but fun.

So, here is some feedback after playing on serious difficulty all maps.

The first map was ok and interesting. A bit short, but well thought.

The second map was a bit weird and also short. It could be cheesed by waiting monsters to fall down. It was ok overall.

The third map was created by Harbinger, a guy that had pretty bad maps in other rounds due to ridiculous difficulty (round 4 arena) or simply monotony (round 2 - nice last boss though). To my surprise, except some jerkish spawners, this one was pretty nice. Keep them like this.

Harbinger's entry was by far the best, and fixed the issue of small enviroments that was present in every other map on here. In fact, his entry is probably one of the best levels ever.

Noam you forgot to update Danker's Demons with my HD Demons, much visually appealing, no offense Danks.
