The hymn of hope is fading.


Demons have tormented the realm of the living from the shadows for as long as there has been life. With their voracious appetites they feed on the souls of men, pulling them in different directions until they're torn asunder. They prey on the fear of mortals who wish only to draw breath in peace, but without that fear, they're powerless.

In this ever changing world full of skeptics and non-believers, demons, lesser and greater, can do nothing to interfere with our realm from their own. However, as of late, a certain young man has found himself unwittingly tampering with the ebb and flow of souls that would have passed on to their dimension.
Paimon, one of the Ten Kings of Hell has come to the human world to revive that fear in humanity, and shift the balance in his own favor.

After journeying across dimensions he fell into a weakened state, and scrambled to find a host to sustain his own life. Trapped within the confines of a fragile vessel, he's forced to ally himself with that which he sought to destroy, an eccentric and rather oblivious fellow, Eira Heartzeil.

He wears a crown forged in the fifth ring of Hell, which represents wrath. When in battle while adorned with this hellish helm his mental state deteriorates uncontrollably.
-Loses sanity upon taking damage. -Greatly reduces damage.

There was a time when demonic orchestras would march before him to announce his arrival. That time has long since past. All that remains of that era is a single violin bow, with a loose connection to a disloyal familiar.
-Sacrifice 100 sanity to summon a Dragonfly. It will attack you and others, however if you can kill it, you have access to its item drops.

Desperate to return to his former glory, he seeks to consume the souls of formidable opponents.
-Has a Leveling System. Starts at 0, maxes out at 10. Prey animals do not increase level, but all other enemies do.
