Star Wars Epic Duels - The Freaky Collection

Description
Fulfill the crossover battles of your dreams! The classic 2002 board game is here, with oodles of fan content to let you play the battles you've always wanted - and many you couldn't even imagine before! Lord of the Rings, Smash Bros and Batman characters are here to fight it out - and more are on the way!

It's been awhile since I've touched this mod - if you're familiar with the older version, you may notice the organizational changes. Everything has been put into custom boxes (courtesy of "Make everything a bag") for ease of sorting and play, and can be shuffled for randomization. A bunch of new decks have been added from the past 6-7 years of custom content, and I plan on adding more - including at least one new whole set. For now, enjoy the re-organization.

Certain decks include notecards explaining special rules or errata pertaining to that deck; be sure to read these carefully. Balance is not guaranteed.

FULL DECK CREDITS CAN BE FOUND AT (...when I update it): https://docs.google.com/document/d/1Q1O863uTxOZx_tJeZCT20Op4jhiGuvkd5gZHpGmoICI/edit?usp=sharing

None of this would be here without the Epic Duels online community, who over the course of 21+ years worked to create tons of additional content to extend the life of a game that went out of print so soon after its release in 2002; it's still going to this day, creating decks for characters both new and old, and even whole new ways to play. A full, in-depth deck credits list can be found above, but for some extra visibility, here's a list (in no particular order) of many of the notable people who made the custom decks featured here:

Roman Farraday (and everyone else involved with Geektopia)
Robert Moore
Sultan of Dorkistan
umondy
Palamon
PD Magnus (whose Bounty Hunters deck I yoinked cards from to make Dengar & Master Ironhead)
The Tusken Raider
Mike Maloney
Rich Pizor
Darth Trumpetus
Docmogs
Cfinton
Justin De Witt
Kevichan
Darth Wolverine
isutton
JAG18
CRFR787
Corey Andalora (creator of the Epic Duels Deck Designer)
Atom (and everyone else involved in the creation of the Smash Bros expansion)
Everyone involved in the creation of the EU expansion
Everyone involved in the creation of the 10YA expansion
Everyone involved in the creation of the 20YA expansion
Everyone involved in the creation of the LotR expansion (and its Armies sub-expansion)
Everyone involved in the creation of the Batman expansion (though it may have just been Robert Moore...)
Poopypants

And of course, the original creators of Epic Duels, Rob Daviau and Craig Van Ness, and anyone else who worked with them on the game.

If your content is featured in this mod and you wish to be credited or for the content to be removed, please let me know! I'd like to keep everything in the mod, but if you don't want your stuff in here, then your stuff will not be in there.

On the flip-side, if you have a deck, board, or other piece of custom Epic Duels content that you would like to be featured in my collection, let me know and I'll take a look at it! (Please note that doesn't mean I'll necessarily add it - end of the day, it's my collection and my call.)

Note that not all decks are featured under their original names; certain character variants have been assigned new monikers (if they didn't already have one) to help differentiate them from their original counterparts and emphasize the traits that these decks represent over the originals. For instance, Mike Maloney's Darth Vader deck, which focuses on Vader's cruel treatment of his underlings, is featured as "Darth Vader, Imperial Leader," while Sultan of Dorkistan's Darth Maul, which depicts Maul's tenure as a calculating assassin, is featured as "Darth Maul, Sith Assassin." All instances of these name changes are indicated in the deck credits found above.

An earlier version of this Epic Duels upload by Kileakula was used as a base for mine: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=423065777 Every deck on the Dark Side/Light Side boards on the Orange/Yellow and Purple/Pink sides of the tables was originally imported by him and still use assets hosted by him.

The Scrollbars for Notecards mod by Indiemeco is used here for an on-table changelog since 6/29/16. The original mod can be found here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=701636321

@Arthur Sickessley It's something I've considered, though I'm not really satisfied with any of the decks other people have made for Revan in terms of gameplay/design; on the other hand, I've had difficulty thinking of a good, unique design for Revan, which is what's been stopping me from following through on making a deck. Add on whether to do dark or light Revan (or both, even), who to pair him with (since Bastila and Carth already have a deck), and it's something I've still yet to really experiment with.

There *is* a pretty interesting Exile deck that seems pretty good; only problem is, the text on the cards is super tiny and cramped, which I can't imagine turning out readable in-game. I'd probably have to make custom graphics to get a readable image.

May I suggest adding a Revan deck? I've browsed through the various options and either he's not available or I'm blind. I'd be very appreciative. As a suggestion as well, add Meetra Surik (jedi exile) if possible. I admire the work you've put into this. :steamhappy:

I believe there's some kind of resource for this on PBWorks, but I couldn't tell you where to look off-hand; haven't touched this in a little while. All else fails, Roman on PBWorks and the Epic Duels forums on Yuku might be able to help you out here.

I'll look into compiling all the stuff I have; don't expect it too soon, though. I've kept most of the TTS work separate from the raw stuff, but I'll still have to sift through some of it; can't imagine you want to see all the stupid crap I considered using for the hidden images, after all.
