This mod adds a protest sign that can be assembled in the assembler.

When I bought Space Engineers, there was an awesome block, the 'ladder'.
As you can imagine it was used to reach different levels easily without having to build
either a big stairway or an piston-elevator.

For some reason (some bugs with gravity fields got reported, I personally think that the ladder was working perfectly, but I did not try weird gravity constellations)
this block was replaced by the passage way, until these bugs got fixed.

I heard of an other reason why the ladder block got removed, it was "too slow and boring to climb ladders".
I can agree to that if you are playing in creative and you quickly want to go up to the next level.
But in survival, if you decide to play without using the jetpack (which makes survival way more challenging and interesting), it is really frustrating if you always have to build an elevator or a huge staircase only to reach a different level. For everyone who has not the patience to climb a ladder, there is still the passage way.

Me (and many others) are waiting now very long for the ladder block to return, but most likely
it will take much more Thursday-updates because there are many other features to implement.
I know the developers are working very hard on the game and are doing their best, I do not want to critizise the developers in any way with this,
We really want it back, you have the model, you have the working code, just a fix is needed.

The ladder is one of the most important blocks in my opinion, it was fitting in the game perfectly before it got removed and it would definitely enhance the gameplay and shipdesign today.
Please consider bringing the ladder back in the game soon.

+++ Since many people suggested to just mod a ladder block instead of this sign: It is only possible to modify already existing features in the game. You can not create new types of blocks. This sign for excample is actually an automatic riffle. +++
