i want to make it a personal model, so i went into the .vtf and changed its colors. after that and a few other mishaps i realized that the black texture is in the .vtf file... but it's invisible. if i were to change the hue of the whole file then all i'd SEE changed are the lights, but port that over and the entire body changes to become that color. strange and a bit inconvenient.
eventually i realized that i needed to change every individual light instead of a mass copy/paste. when i did that, it mostly worked except the shorts area (waist, groin, thighs, all that) went completely white. i have no idea why as when looking at the tron_body_norm file compared to the body_diff i don't see much of a difference, but the transparency of the diff makes it hard to tell. so, if you could provide some input
how should i go about changing small details of this? how do i fix the legs from going white?
