Report a translation problem
As far as directx I haven't seen model compatability issues only texture ones but they have updated that in the thier mod as well if you decide to look into it.
I can create a new version, but doing it with archaic vanilla engine models is really not worthwhile, especially since I'm sure new vanilla engines will be released in the next few weeks.
If someone that can create cooler engine models and effects wants to work with me, I'd be happy to create the upgrade system. But working to try and duplicate vanilla engine parts just so they can break again sounds like a waste of time.
