Byzantine Guardsmen are the best of the best trained in everyway in melee,spear,skirmisher,javelin, in anyway to be the best in any situation.

These men stand and protect the emporer till the last man.

These elite spear skirmisher unit packs a strong defense, and still go on a killing spree with their large shield and walls of spears AND ARE NOT GODLIKE OR INVINCIBLE AS YOU CAN SEE IN THE LAST 2 IMAGES THEY DO DIE JUST LIKE EVERY OTHER UNIT IN ATILLA!!!

Recruitable from level 4 infantry compound.

Nice lategame unit. Any chance of a unit card? If not no worries, but it's slightly annoying when you have both Lanciarii Seniores and these chaps on the field at the same time.

Historical unit but not for this period. This unit would be available from 925-1025.

so i guess this mod is dead? it hasn't been updated since july 1, 2015 and that was like almost a whole year ago and people have been asking for this mod for a long time, good mod but i guess it's just dead for whatever reason. PLEASE UPDATE PLEASE!!!
