Description
Invasion Europe 1944. Based on 4 historic Divisions.
Okw 2nd Panzer Divison. US 2nd Armored Division 'Hell on Wheels'.
Osteer 78th Sturm Division. Soviet 3rd Guards Tank Corps

This is a large mod currently with 386 new portrait and icon images, numerous new units, abilities and a few weapon tweeks. Its empishis is on armored formations and it promotes the use of such. Halftracks and light armor play an important part in gaining mobility on the field of combat for map control. Every unit has new game icons and portraits. This is still work in progress as I have yet to finish doing the Soviet Portrait images and no doubt the odd game tweet pending feedback. Its best played with high resources so mplease enjoy.
There is still great infantry units including new Aufklarung squads, Stormtroopers, Sturm pioneers, Fallschirmjager infantry and support weapons. Veteran US riflemen and lmg squads with new abilities and weapon loadouts. Larger Soviet engineer squads and shock troops as standard. More units can now achive vet 5 and there are new support weapons German 120 mm mortar, a new officer, Soviet ISU122 Tank Destroyer, US ACC Sherman with aircover and rapid deployment of a 702nd Tank Destroyer Platoon.
For armor OKW you have nearly every type available, for the Osteer you have the 78th Sturm Division ( Infanrty Assault Division ). So more limited armor options than the other three Divisions with no medium panzer 4 G/J or Panther but both Tigers are avaliable. The US have Shermans 75/76/105 as core builds plus all the tank destroyers. The Soviets are a Guards Armored Division so the T34/85 is their core tank with the usual TD support plus the new ISU122 which was able to penertraite the front turret of a Tiger 2 at over 1500 metres! It has great range and penertration but a slow reload.
In general the more expensive the infantry the more abilities they get. for example Us Vets get a different loadout with less Garlands in exchange for more automatic weapons plus additional suppression abilities. M20 how have camo prowl to spot for the jacksons. US crews can no longer get out to repair their tanks ( m20 still can) but M3 halftracks have the upgrade option to do parked mechanical repair, you just need to get them out of combat to fix them. Just remember smoke smoke and more smoke
Panzerfaust, panzershrecks and anti tank weapons from 88mm upwards get a 30 % reduction in critical hits but gain a 5% chance to cause a brew up. You will see the occasional 1 shot one kill! This gets around the guarantted engine critical whenever hit by a heat round and this does make your tanks more dependent on infantry support and I feel its a bit more realistic as engine and ammo rack brew ups were quiet common with such weapons
Besides its fun to see an enemys tank one shotted when he is about to let loose the hounds of war!
Mine laying abilities have been removed from some divisions as they were armoured formations that worried more about facing them than laying them. The Sturm Division still has a good choice of mines, laying S mines with AT mines between is very effective in protecting flank and rear areas.
Light and medium armor is avaliable very early in the game. For example The US can get an M10 without the need of a captain upgrade and Stugs are available from tier 2. I belive these these early armor options make for a more dynamic game but for those of you who love infantry there is still a good choice with a variety of abilities. Every army still has an effective counter for enemy armor with other fuel free AT options. Infantry spamming blobs will struggle to dominate as combined arms will devistate them earlier in the game
Remember the armored formations are just that so if you think there are heavy weapons missing e.g. no 50cal hmg for the US infantry! its not missing its on your vehicles or take an airborne commander and airdrop one :)

the odds of this mod being updated are low cause it was made in 15 which happend to be 6 years ago

Last update on 015. Old comments here. Wonder if the mod is dead or just reached the point that it's done. Was good mod, unsure if it's broken since all the new changes to the game.

Anyone having a fatal scar, execution paused error? I'm playing as the OKW and this happens on any map i play on (mod or vanilla). If i unpause the game the OKW SWS trucks will not spawn.
