Starmetal Blade

Description
A sword forged from metal that fell from the sky. It still glows with an inner fire.

Whatever long journey this sword has been on, someone has seen fit to leave it behind at the stone dais just north of Morthal for anyone to claim.

It has stats similar to a one handed daedric sword and bears an everlasting fire enchant. The sword can be upgraded with fire salts. If you prefer, there is also an unenchanted version that can be crafted with daedric smithing or added through the console.

The sword's design was partially inspired by the Mithrodin design by Kit-Rae. Note that two of the screenshots shown above are taken with an ENB enabled.

The skin texture and tail you should be able to find on Nexus Mods with a little searching

I thought that sword looked familiar. Kit Rae's blades are amazing. Beautiful sword.

As the description already says, it can be crafted if you have daedric smithing or you can add it with the console.

I really like this sword, and its in a cool place when you find it. I have one question though, is there a way to get an unenchanted version of this blade so that I can add two of my own enchantments to it?

Thanks anyway, not a fan of the bulky style. :cs_axe:

I do not plan to make a twohanded version, no, sorry. It should be fairly simple to make a modification to your local copy of the mod to add a twohanded sword using my art, and could be done in 5 minutes if you know what you are doing, or 30 or so if you follow a tutorial, provided no issues show up. I cant guarantee that the sword hilt would align with your character's hands though.

The reason i have not done this mysellf is because i believe the confusion from having four different items that are all minor variations of each other would do more harm than good, and also because i believe that the sword works better as a onehander. You could take a look at my other mod linked in the description, however, which is a bulky twohander.

The description just mentions this is a 1handed blade- do you have any plans to make a 2handed version? I do use 1handed at times, but the majority of the time I'm on bows for distance- and greatswords for close quarters. From what I can see of the photos, it looks nice and I like the fire ench. opt.- be great if 2handed was included but thanks either way for sharing your mod. We don't all have the time for modding :):riften::windhelm:
