Staff of Cats

This is the tenth staff that you have discovered. Once long ago a magic cat lived in a town. It was wise, could talk, and everyone came to it for help. Once a deceitful witch tricked the cat into coming to her house. When the cat arrived, the witch captured it. She put the cat into a cage and kept it as a pet. The cat would complain about how it would want to go home and how the witch wasn't feeding it correctly. The witch got so annoyed she cast a spell on the cat to turn it into a staff. The cat still lives but only as a staff with its body on top.

To clear up some, uh, *cough* confusion *cough*. The staff is the cat's tail. The body is stuffed and the staff goes into the tail.
