Utility Service Tunnel Entrance

Description
A ramp leading to a dedicated service tunnel for use by utility vehicles and emergency services.

This template serves as an entrance or on/off ramp for a service tunnel consisting of two underground "highway ramp" roads. This road is meant to be a high-speed route for service vehicles (garbage trucks, hearses, fire/police station vehicles) to reach residential and commercial areas, then return to their respective buildings without dealing with the heavy traffic often found on major residential streets. As such, its entrances are of a slightly different configuration than standard highways. The half of the service road headed towards the service "hub" has ONLY on ramps, and the half headed away has ONLY on ramps. This means that any vehicle which enters the service tunnel MUST continue to the tunnel's end, and the only way to enter the outbound tunnel is from the service hub itself. This makes no difference for service vehicles, which would follow this pattern anyway, but makes the tunnel terribly inconvenient for anyone not headed to/from the service hub, meaning there isn't any traffic in the tunnels for service vehicles to deal with. It's an expensive solution, but allows for very quick response times for service vehicles, meaning one fire/police headquarters can serve a huge area, and all or most of the city's incinerators can be localized in one place, rather than being spread over the whole city. In the near future, I'll try to add some diagrams or examples of this system in use.

When placing the entrance, note that the underground "ramps" are in a right-hand drive configuration, and the above-ground end of the entrance should point AWAY from the service hub.

Creator is online but may not mod or even play this game any more (I'm not sure how the Online status works). The previous comment has been waiting 7 years for a reply. Does anybody else understand how this works? I really would like to see this in action.
