The year is 2021, I just found out someone, out there, has been working on an upgraded version of this map. He added a lot of things, so much that he really understood how this map worked and how it was intended to be. But more, he understood how the heroes statistics were calculated and added 4 new heroes to the mod and statistic cards.

Now, I can say I found my legacy and I'm very proud someone, years after the initial release, took this map a step further. Thank you to everyone who helped me playtest this map. Thank you to the Ensemble Studio community who played many games hosted back in the good old days. Thank you to this player who kept improving the mod.

NOW IF YOU WANT TO PLAY ORIGINAL

This is a Multiplayer Role Play Game that will change your way of playing Age of Myhtology.


- 6 players
- Player 1 to 6 : Team 1
- Player 7 : Team 2
- Player 8 : team 3
- 4 levels of difficulty

How to install ?
The map is called "ChiMem v10 by Tasterix", just host it online, wait for players, and have fun !

(!) Close Skype, Youtube videos, and all background applications while playing, the game can be laggy if your comptuer can't handle it. If you still lag during the game, try zooming a little bit and/or changing your resolution. I'm not saying you need a good computer but with the EE graphics, the mod is really heavy because it has tons of eyecandy.


The Warriors :
- Brute : basically you just hit things and tank
- Barbarian : can move easily on the battlefield
- Knight : hit and run strategy for good players
- Rogue : the best hero to pick for beginners

The Magus :
- Healer : the most important unit of the game
- Sorcerer : can cast spells and summon beasts
- Witchhunter : more like a protector of the wild
- Spellsword : mix between warrior and magician

The Furtives :
- Thieve : can steal gold from enemies
- Asassin : can be sometime invisible and teleport
- Archer : distant unit basically, no more to say
- Pilgrim : fast, has spells and puts traps

The Builders :
- Architect : he builds towers and has a good fight level
- Engineer : can convert siege weapons all over the map
- Savant : uses automaton by walking near them
- Expert : can make a moving mirror tower


Upgrade informations :

- Health : gives you extra hitpoints
- Athletics : increases your speed
- Accuracy : gives extra projectile to magus and LOS for everyone
- Engineering : buildings stats bonus for builders and crush attack for everyone
- Hack Armor : more protections against melee enemies (swords, lancers, axes, ...)
- Pierce Armor : shield improvement against ranged units (arrows, birds, shots, ...)
- Strength : gives both melee and distant units more attack
- Bravery : this makes you stronger vs myth units

(!) To get your upgrade, use your old man. Everytime you level up, you get 1 extra old man. You know which is your level by clicking on the Athena, on the south of the map. Her life points is the number of kills remaining until next level, her attack shows your current level.


Has multiple quests, leveling system, shops, free roaming map, bosses, and much more like secrets, hidden relics, riddles and some extra quests like Thieves Guild (if you manage to find where it hides) or secondary mission with the Egyptian part. The best team set up is a Healer, a Tank and a Builder at least in the team. Beware, the game is pretty hard and you can easily die. Take a few days to understand the mechanics and try every heroes until you find the one who fits you.

Be ready to play for around 2 hours in multiplayer if you set up difficulty on beginners, 5 hours of playing if medium, around 24 hours of playing if you set on hard. A hint ? Don't play expert mod unless you want to loose your social life.
