Description
While not of industrial size and unable to mine great quantities of ore each run, its two drills and medium-sized cargo container will quickly resupply a combat vessel while on patrol.

With its small frame and top connector it is fully compatible with the T.N.F. drone bays. An example of a drone-carrying ship is the Nosferatu frigate.


General characteristics:
-Crew: 1x Drone Pilot
-Length: 6,5 m
-Width: 3,5 m
-Height: 3 m

Equipment:
-2x drills

Features:
-Ejector tube with sorter, which can be used to filter out unwanted ore when mining
-LCD screen visible from the control camera, using MMaster's LCD 2 script.
-Top mounted camera to aid docking
-Top connector
-Emergency parachute
-Survival ready

Known issues:
-None at the moment.

@General_Cryptor You can't activate the autopilot while you're controlling it. If you use an antenna to access the drone's terminal (or are close enough to access the connector) you might be able to switch it on that way. The Remote block autopilot is really strange though, and takes a lot of setup to do much of anything. And even with "collision avoidance" turned on it's basically blind, it will be more than happy to fly straight into a rock or you or your ships if it's going much faster than walking speed.

Splitsie on youtube has a tutorial that might help, if you feel like searching for it.

How to use the Autopilot Thing on the drone? I cant turn it on. It stays off when I try to activate it but I want to know what it is supposed to do.

No, just plain old manual control. I might experiment with a automatic mining script though, never used them before.

hello, i really like this mining drone.

I have a problem to get it to work. The code gives me a error too.

Thank you! Yes, I'm hopefully only a few days away from publishing a new station. Perhaps I will make an auxilliary ship that is able to drop a planetary base from orbit, for use by strike infantry teams. Thanks for the suggestion!

Thx to you. Your work is amazing. Are you working on something new? I would like to see a planetary base compatible with your ships. Also i like your satelite station but it´s pretty expensive to do in survival.
