Description
A custom scripted water splash effect for coasters that dive into water.

Extract this package to use the effect in your own park.

Either click and go or use the enormous amount of values accessible through the scene object properties to tweak the particle behavior up to insane detail.

Not enough control? Just copy the Scene Object file and add a new particle material type or create a new default parameter preset type.

Feel free to share any new presets, but please link it in the discussion section of this Workshop item!

By the way, no need to edit anything in the script anymore! I updated it so you can change everything from the object panel in the editor, happy tweaking.

Oh wow, I must have missed that one when I was going through the script last night. That makes things very easy then, thanks!

You can change the water level for that script, there are many values which can configure its behaviour at the beginning of the "WaterSplash.nlvm" script file. One of it is the value for "WATER_LEVEL", in line 68, I marked it also in this picture [i.imgur.com]

I wanted to use this for a log flume I'm making but it's about 100ft above the water level so it gives me an error. Is there any way to modify the script to ignore water level and instead have the splash appear at whatever height the object is placed at?

Wait how do I modify the script?

I like it.
I like it even more than the original, because its modable.

But i think i need to dublicate the effect for the wide divecoaster cars as well as a new spash texture.
