The Republic of Guatemala, or simply Guatemala, is a Central American country located between Mexico, El Salvador, and Belize. It is the largest Central American country in terms of size, population, and GDP. Guatemala is known for its rich jungles and biodiversity, and also for its rich history, spanning from the Mayan civilization to Spanish colonization.

Although it is the largest Central American economy, there is a great deal of poverty, illiteracy, and crime that have plagued the country for generations. Civil wars and gang violence have kept the nation from advancing in the past few decades. Will you be able to bring Guatemala out of it's troubles and turn it into a developed, prosperous nation?

Guatemala, being in its unfortunate circumstances, gives you the opportunity to play a very difficult mod that is guaranteed to challenge you when compared to any typical country mod. I have also added new policies to help tackle the problems in Guatemala. Below is a list of additional features in this mod.

• Drug War

This simulation is integral to this mod, as the Drug War plays a huge role in the crime that exists today in Guatemala. This simulation acts as an indicator of how bad the crime and violence is in Guatemala, and decreasing the Drug War will benefit the well-being of this nation.

If the Drug War is very high, the Bloody Drug War situation will be on. This amplifies the negative effects of Drug War. Substantially decreasing the drug war will result in a Drug War Victory, benefiting the country's health, GDP, and tourism.

An additional feature of these mods are that they also include unique sound effects.

These demographic changes were made to more accurately simulate the actual demographics of Guatemala.
