Merchant of Venus (AH)

Description
Merchant of Venus makes players take on the roles of space traders chasing wealth and fortune. Each player moves their ship through interconnected systems on a fixed map, discovering new alien worlds to trade with. As players start to make money delivering commodities, their earnings can be used to purchase equipment and construct their own infrastructure. The player who first acquires enough total value in cash and port/factory deeds wins the game.

---

This is the famous Dathkadan redesign of Merchant of Venus, considered by many as the Grail of Print and Play. And if you don't know what a Dathkadan build is, boy! - you are in for a treat!
A work so beautiful its rights were actually negotiated to the company that planned a new print of the game before FFG jumped on board.

Anybody brave (or crazy) enough to attempt this build would face a gigantic high resolution map board, three further boards for the market, 8 player mats (per player!), reference cards, standees and hundreds of full-colour double sided counters. Not including the official and unofficial expansions and variants, which added evem more counters and boards to the game. Oh, and the money. There are bank notes in circulation with less detail than those here.

You can get the original instructions here[boardgamegeek.com] and a redesigned pdf here[boardgamegeek.com].

@tbeaulieu2000 Each player mat has a stack, in its top-left corner, of 12 starbase/factory markers.

Where are the starbase counters? I see the deeds that are for the player sheets, but where are the counters that go on the game board?

You should modify the player positions by removing and recreating the player hands. After creating a player hand zone you can color it to the race's color. The host of the game can do this if they want to get player positions to actually line up with the races.

Urhixidur, first you must "subscribe". The next time you open TTSim, it should download. Once you create a game, you should be able to load MoV from the DLC section.
