解説
VC Tremble Class Orbital Bombardment Vessel

The Void Corp Technologies Automatic Leveling Module is designed to land on the surface of a planet and bring the body of the pod to a level position without any human intervention. This model is also equipped with merge blocks and connectors on four sides so it could theoretically act as a hub for a larger modular base system.

*As with the drop pods, this ship need gravity to work as intended *

*Made without mods and fully compatible with survival

Happy engineering!

under this consept i would love to see your VC work in terms of base both via drop and normal base

you could strap a drill so it would be a drill pod to drop the pod and then automaticly mine on the surface of the planet and you could get it later

Have you ever come back to look at these? You know since planets are out and everything.

to avoid block breakage you could add suspention wheels to dampen the landing
but other than that it looks like it works great

another idea is use the space ball, cuz it's got an opation for minimize bounce and then theres the friction setting which can be use to stop it from sliding, i know this works fo planetery landing cuz i've used as landing gear for a small large ship that was over 1mil kg. these opations keep working even when the space ball is turned off

Interesting idea! Might have to give that a shot :)

just an idea, (and i havent tried this yet) but you might experiment with using drills to help soften the impact just a bit more, to shave off that last bit of damage to the base structure. ive seen large ship drills survive and still work after a 25m/s impact with an asteroid. this could potentially help reduce the distance from the surface from which you have to be to deploy it correctly, which in turn, increases the accuracy of the deployment. just a thought. like i said, i havent tried it.
