Description
This mod replaces the Soundtrack and menu music with the one from The Elder Scrolls V - Skyrim & Dragonborn.

-------------------------------------

If you want to customize your soundtrack, as you might have done with textures, here you get how the soundtrack works:

The game uses the folder Game\sound\music.

There it searches for the file xmusic1.mp3

If a mp3 ends, and there is a file with actual number + 1 like xmusic2.mp3 after playing xmusic1.mp3, than that one will be played next.

If there is no further file, or there is a gap between the actual files number and the next one, like xmusic1, xmusic2 and xmusic4, than it restarts with the first file.

Until now I don't know if there is a max number of soundtrack files that are used.

-------------------------------------

All my soundtracks will contain every single title in a seperate mp3 file, so you can easily delete or change a specific one, or change their order.

-------------------------------------

These tracks are neither done by me nor do I own any rights on them. No copyright infringement intended.

one day i will find the motivation to go in there and remove the flags. one day... Thank you for being an awesome supportive mod dev. Its amazing to be able to write a quick comment and get an actual response to fix my issue. Good on the community and good on AOE 2 which is and will forever be in my top 5 games of all time.

I would have to search for such a mod myself. Doing it from scratch would be the same amount of work as you would still have to touch them all, just clearing them instead of repositioning them.

ok thats amazing but would it be easier to just remove them? i would have to change a bunch of flag positions probably easier to just be rid of thim. i hear tell of a mod that does this. but i think ill grow old and die looking for it

The flag is its own asset, with its own location coordinates - like any unit or building. Those of course are set to fit the original buildings. So 'all' you need to do is to change those coordinates for all flags affected.

As far as I know, they are only stored with the graphical asset itself.

So without going too deep right here, what you need to do is this (sorry I'm not collecting all the links into here, but they should be easy to get):

1: Download the fan tool turtle pack.
2. Open my modding guide in the workshop (also has the links).
3. Get the slp (graphic asset) file overview from my onedrive linked there (lists the assets without the last expansions I think).

Find the flags you need, open them in turtle pack and move their position until it fits (most likely trial and error). Save your changed asset and create your own mod with them (better option ;) ) or store them and overwrite the default files)

obviously unrelated to your mod but i see you mess with some textures or perhaps know of a forum where i could propose my question

oh nvm bro since i commented this i figured out how to replace them myself and i did so with a combo of morrowind and oblivion music. Skyrim music is great but i felll like 3 and 4 had the most peaceful stuff. thanks for the reply tho!. my current task with AOE is to remove the annoying flag that appears when building are occupied. i have some custom archetecture sets and the flags are no longer aligned with the building . i could do without the flags really they are and eye sore in general but even more so when they just float above the buildings.
maybe youd know of a solution to my little problem.
