Yep , author seems to have missed something - it's not needed to cancel any recording , since clones don't need a bridge to walk. Not sure how to fix that.

Now I'm going to be paranoid about unintended solutions in my maps revolving around cancel tricks.

Aww man, I didn't need to cancel the recording and I don't know what I should have done :(

I did it in 1 recording. Clever use of the cancel mechanic! Although, with a cube toss on the bottom button, I think it'd be possible to break the map
