U.S.S Prometheus

Description
An elite experimental warship of the United Federation of Planets, the U.S.S. Prometheus is now in a fully functional state to use in Space Engineers. A flagship of unrivalled fire power and speed, the prometheus not only can win in most direct engagements with "Server Destroyers" but also split into 3 fully autonomous and remote controllable segments each with an individual focus to provide you with any tool for any job.

Built from a template provided by da Gooze on the steam workshop (who despite not completing the Prometheus provided an amazing Pixelart-esque design here: https://steamhost.cn/steamcommunity_com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=199925218)

The Prometheus has a practical but beautiful design. On the outside it's blade-like silhouette strikes terror into it's foes hearts, however inside it is a different story. While most of the interior is rugged, on the Prometheus's prow segment, an entire deck is dedicated to the needs and uses of the crew, including barracks and more. The ship does lack currently lighting but this was to reduce lag.

The Prometheus's capabilities and properties include:

-3 Independant Segments. The topside is dedicated to being a small and medium sized ship hangar, the is bow a less complex cargo ship and the prow is a lynchpin to any combat fleet in it's own right.

-18 Warp Drives, hidden within nacelles and in the interior (6 per segment).

-4 Carefully balanced and aligned Artificial Mass Drives (named Impulse drives), providing long-range thrust.

-1929 Gyroscopes which allow the Prometheus to turn rather quickly unlike ponderous ships of similar size (It is advised that the Captain roll the ship to increase the rate of turning).

-665 Thrusters placed to match the design of the ship, to propel 101,323,840KG in any given direction.

-A large foundary aboard all ships, capable of refining, assembling and creating complete parts, self sufficient oxygens systems as well as ready-for-survival connectors between all ships.

-An all access design. All places, nacelles included are accessable. However in the prow, it must be noted that some gyroscopes block access to others due to the large amount required for maneuvrability

-A Multi-Vector Assault mode which in capable hands can allow the ship to split unharmed into the 3 Segments. Simply deactivate any laMding gears and merge blocks before moving the ship up, down and away in regards to their current position. Use your common sense, and a welder otherwise...

Regarding above ship classification: "SERVER DESTROYER"

This is not a joke. While this ship may be in many ways excellent, in a complete format, THIS WILL BE TOO MUCH FOR LOW RANGE PCS AND LAG MEDIUM TO HIGH. CAREFUL WITH USE. Server hosts dealing with this ship, I would advise you to turn your graphics down to normal, delete immediately and kick the person constantly if he returns. Users I would advise you to NEVER SPAWN THIS SHIP WITH ANY INERTIA. It is completely fine travelling otherwise, however early on this too can cause immense damage. It is perfectly common to spend up to half a minute loading in the design from the steam workshop in a world. This should give you a clue with what you are meddling.

hey da gooze, it's me the guy who was nutty about your bismark battleship... umm... this is an odd request, but could you tell [civil] to repub his older ships as blueprints? he and i had a falling out a while back when my first pc fried, and he blocked me..... i still respect him and his work, but have no way to ask on my own.

yeah I will figure it out after they fix the glitch with it crashing with a separation issue on the mod

I'm afraid I cannot come on often and shan't be able for a while yet, so I can't tell you straight away. However if my memory serves me right; the hangar orientated part of the ship, the Topside, ran on somewhere between 80 and 90% when at full load, and had space for two more reactors possibly and plenty of large cargo containers to replace; the combat orientated part of the ship, the Prow, has plenty of space spare (atleast 6x6x6) if you think well spatially, and runs at around 60%, while the cargo orientated part of the ship, the Bow has little space but runs at about 70%. I hope this helps. I'm afraid you will have to do your calculations on your own for now.

how much spare power dose it have as alpha shield take quite a bit for each block 45 megawatts per block to be exact but then multi vector assult mode would crash the game when the ship separates lol cause the mod dose that when a ship gets cut in half separateing the generator from blocks it's protecting

It is currently modless so only gravity shields could be implemented. However with mods you could easily add a shield buff block to each section to massively increase its durability. Invisible walls would work far less well but there is plenty of space if you want to try anything.
