"Northern Offensive" Episode 2 - SP Mission (

The Northern Offenisve has reached to its climax of brutality, and the Russians are giving heavy resistance against the CDF.

The offenisve has lasted for some months, and the frontline has moved many times to the sea and to the mainland, because the Chernarussian Defence Force is not capable to make a decissive movement to smash the enemy lines.
In the north, the main airfield of the area is being disputed between the 2nd Republican Guard Regiment (Chernarus) and the 98th Airborne Division (Russian Federation, VDV). between the russian forces there are some militias that are beeing armed with stolen weapons, and they have claimed loyalty to the Chernarussian Republic, provoking the constant attacks of the 42nd Motorized Rifles Brigade and the 76th Guards Air Assault Division.

The 44th Mountain Brigade of Kirovograd has been assigned to the Eastern front, more exactly, to the southwest sector of operations, near Zelenogorsk, a ghost village evacuated by the russian army just before the "Northern Offensive".

Today, at 5:00 AM local hour, a team of 8 men will begin a counter-recon patrol to prevent any hostile infiltration in CDF-held territory.
