The Samnite

As asymmetrical a ship as you will ever find, the Samnite fits a hodge podge of different roles giving it a fun mix of strengths and weaknesses.

Featuring three independent gravity drive systems to compensate for the ship’s unusual shape together with a high gyroscope to weight ratio, the Samnite can run rings around any large ship and many small ships. But be warned, if one of the grav drives goes down, your engineers will need to adjust the others quickly to maintain control.

The right side of the ship contains its six broadside cannons covered in heavy armour – the one place it can take sustained fire. Should any opponent get to the left hand side of the ship, they will find an elegant wide view bridge protected only by anti-missile turrets.
