Description
Kowon County is a county in South Hamgyong province, North Korea. It lies at the southern tip of the province.
The western reaches of the county are high and mountainous, while the east is a low-lying plain. Major rivers and streams include the Chontan River (전탄강), Tokchi River (덕지강), Sabakchon (사박천), and the Kuryongchon (구룡천). The rivers empty into Songjon bay, that in turns leads to the bigger Yŏnghŭng Bay and finally to the sea of Japan.

The climate is generally continental, but is moderated by foehn winds blowing from the mountains. Agriculture is the predominant local industry. Orcharding and livestock raising are also carried out, as is sericulture (silk farming). The area is rich in minerals with deposits of zinc, gold, silver, and anthracite.

- Temperate theme.
- All connections except for one highway connection.
- Roughly 90k trees used.
- All resources.
- I recommend using a 25-tile mod.
- For some extra North Korean flair check out these billboards.

Began to play on it yesterday and having lots of fun. Thank you! Looking at the satellite images of real Kowon on Google is depressing... little villages of precisely lined up houses and the rest filled up with mini-sized fields that probably are worked on by human power alone.
