Dominator Class Escort Carrier

A Retro Fit of an old design, the Dominator Class Escort Carrier is based upon a Warhammer 40,000 Dominator Class Cruiser with mulitple modifications to improve performance. Most notably is the change from cruiser to escort carrier, as the entire front of the ship has been transformed into a light craft bay capable of holding multiple light aircraft with ease. A compliment of the pre-made fighters, builders and miners can easily occupy the ship, giving the Escort Carrier plenty of use as both a combat ship and as an industrial grade transports.

Of course, for an industrial grade transport the ship still holds a beefy payload. Along with the large carrier bay, the ship also has multiple defensive batteries mounted upon her hull that are not plainly obvious to would be attackers. With the flick of a switch, the multiple turrets can come to life and end the life of any foolish enough to attack without knowing their supposed prey's defenses.

Internally, the ship holds several extra defenses. Multiple Blast doors (Airtight hangar doors) are fitted throughout the ship with the intention of sealing off sections of the ship as required. To further this defense, defensive turrets are mounted in key choke points, so players inside the ship need be wary of displeasing the captain.

This ship uses no mods, and is currently not survival ready. Further work is being done upon the class and will be updated eventually, but right now the Venerable Class Carriers (A considerably larger design) take priority in design.
