XR-16 Archimedes

Designed primarily as a pathfinder, the XR-16 served only as an Engineer's nightmare. The cockpit had a narrow field of view, the airlocks were too small, the medbay seemed like a deathtrap, the jump drive needed time to recharge after each hop and the gravity generator was too far back.

Despite this the XR-16 was rushed into production and proved it's worth so long as it's crew of 2 could endure cramped spaces.

I love this story I'm creating. Anyhow, here 'he' is, only as a proof of concept I'm afraid but I'll work on it if you guys like this sort of thing. I admit I'm in love with the engineering section so expect to see that in my future designs. No camera's or weapons so don't go nuts.
