Planet to Orbit Ore Transportation - w4stedspace

Description
A method for transporting materials and ore from a planet surface into orbit and beyond without needing repeated journeys from a piloted vessel by using 2 vessels and a basic gravity cannon combined with some extra targetting features to help align things.

I can't be certain what gravity well sizes planets will have on release but this technique *should* scale indefinitely to match any size of gravity well and it certainly manages to be a cheap method of transport - expensive to build the grav gens but they can always be broken down once done.

Rechanging stations at both ends
Lots of cargo storage
Loading/Unloading connectors at both ends
Solar powered
Clear indication of transport zone

Usage:

'Ship' Part
1 - Alignment camera
2 - Alignment guide & warning indicator
9 - 'Lock' gyros

'Base' Part
Designed to be operated via remote control from above - has a static station to help alignment.


Still a work in progress so will be updating this as I improve the suspension and turning system.
