Description
The Marshal is a modernized destroyer deployed long ago by the Steel Strider admiralty. Sold for scrapping rights due to obsoletion, FireDuneDynamics has acquired a few hulls of the Allen D. Sumner through the renowned broker 17SS_Alfred. Re-armed and re-inforced, the Marshal is jack-of-all-trades, master-of-none ship designed to take on and take out whatever it encounters be it in the air, on the water, or under it.

3 cannons provide a 360 degree firing arc and maintain a low profile while dishing out a constant rain of HE shells with occaisonal tracers for targeting purposes.

An Enhanced Torpedo Launcher taken from our Commissioner Light Cruiser servers very well as the Tertiary armament to circumvernt increasingly common anti-missile systems.

A new Large Payload Vertical Missile Launch System had to be custom-designed to fit onto the ship and serves as the primary damage-dealer. Each missile carries a variety of sub-munitions designed to defeat any defensive armoring and cause massive damage.

Other munitions include an anti-sub Smart Depth Charge system mounted on a seperate AI for seperate targeting. The default AI settngs and only a radar dome is used which I feel provides the best results, though feel free to set it up to your liking.

NON-LORE INFORMATION
The hull of the ship used 17SS_Alfred's USS DD Allen M. Sumner (realistic scale). That unto itself is a fantasic piece of work in which many hours went into, I've just made it combat-viable. Go subscribe to his model as well!
Generally the lack of shielding and anti-laser counter-measures are it's biggest letdown, though it's got enough alpha to cripple just about anything before it has a chance to deal too much damage. It'll take on most 25-and-below vehicles but in a fleet it becomes a force multiplier.
