Description
(SD) 2O23 0813 Milton Keynes Central to South Croydon (350) - Standard Version (No Reskin Version)

This is the same scenario as the previous version but uses the Class 455/8 instead of the Southern Reskin (there is a version that uses the reskin avaliable as well - see below)

Route South London to Brighton

Small Note - I do ask though if you don't like the scenario for any reason, please can you say, don't worry I won't bite :) - Any constructive critism is welcome, and if I have gone wrong somewhere, I can learn from my mistakes for next time.

Other Versions of scenario

Train used - Class 350 (WCML Trent Valley)

Danny's Facebook Route Page (more info on things that I do :) ) - https://www.facebook.com/pages/Dannys-Route-Pictures/271300119587161

Description: Drive a Southern Service with a Class 350 borrowed from London Midland. Lots of AI based on a current timetable but set in 2010.

Driver Briefing: Good evening driver, today you will be driving the remainder of the 0813 service to South Croydon. First you will need to pick up passengers at Clapham Junction and then all stops to South Croydon. Due to Southern EMU's being leased to Fcc, you will be driving a Leased Class 350 from London Midland.

Duration: 32 Minutes
Difficulty: Medium

Requirements

(there are a few - only to make it as accurate as i can :) )

Reskins needed

None

Notes: During 2010, Southern Sub leased 377/2s to First Capital Connect to cover for the late arriving 377/5s. In turn London Midland sub leased several 350/1s to Southern to run its Milton Keynes to East / South Croydon Services. (not forgetting the addtional Southeastern ones too )

Notes 2: I have used South London to Brighton over London to Brighton due to having fixes for the area of the route (including Tunnel Occulsions under bridges, and passengers that don't walk past the edge of the platforms. I haven't used South London Network, mainly so that I could position more AI south of South Croydon. (There is also the bias that I did South London to Brighton as well :) )

Very enjoyable indeed!! I agree with Scouser888 the amount of AI traffic was phenomenal especially around Clapham Jcn. I was disappointed when the departure time arrived as I was enjoying watching the variety of trains passing through!! :-)

Small mistake on my part - must have accidently put the train the wrong way around so the driver was at the back and didn't realise - I'm sorry for that.

The 09:42 from London Bridge to Brighton when departing from South Croydon manage to leave the station without a driver in the cab. Are Conductors going to do their job as well as opening and closing the doors?

I must have driven this part of the route, or variations thereof, lots of times. But what made this one very enjoyable was the tons and tons of AI traffic, especially around Clapham Common, of course.Timetable is reasonable and attainable. Highly recommend.
