As previously mentioned I had two ideas for the MVP sticker - I’ve already worked up one of them.



This submission is the more sober approach, however I felt it had to be made up incase users dislike the novelty of the former, and because the phrase 'the real MVP' is bandied about quite a lot on reddit; and also because sometimes I just like to make things I see in my minds eye.

I wanted it to look like an award, which is why the V and the star are arranged in a lockup to resemble a medal. The Laurel wreath is a tried and tested element and was a nice natural addition to contrast with the chromey metals. I made the script myself, first as a vector then in 3D by bringing in the Path, manipulating its Z axis to give the illusion of depth, then ran a circle along the splines to mimic neon lighting. I’ve attached a frame of the development stages. All typography is custom made.

There's no technical break-through this time around, but hopefully the effort, execution and universal appeal sells it. I’m going for mass market here, which is also why I opted for ‘the real’ instead of ‘da real’, perhaps it’s for the best that I not encourage illiteracy.

I had 8 different variations, but can only submit 3, so I’ve left out the two-tone gold, bronze, green/chrome and alternative paper versions.
