After playing hundreds of games, you look to play for something that feels different.
This map is born out of that desire to play something that felt strange, achieving this by ausing an odd layout.

The map's resources are set to generate randomly. Due to the strange shapes in some areas, the algorithm the game uses to spread them may leave some areas lacking.
Other than that, it should work fine.


RECOMMENDED:
Starting out on Medieval Era. This is due to the map being mostly water, and your initial placement might be in a small area.
