Puzzle of the Damned is a trilogy so you can expect a third map!
Puzzle of the Damned was based on challenging puzzle content, Puzzle of the Damned II is based on the story and progression throughout the map.

The map name is PotD II because Puzzle of the Damned II doesn't fit into the map name due to the character limit.

In Puzzle of the Damned I had a lot of leaderboards, Puzzle of the Damned II only has one.

Explore the complex of Hamkara in 2 gamemodes!

Story: Progress through the map with ease and any settings you want, read the story when you get to numbers and letters and enjoy your time!

Race: Speedrun through the map to attempt to reach the top of the leaderboards!

The Story: Read each section at the chapter numbers and chapter segments.

Chapter 1: The Fall

The floor is starting to expand faster, you attempt to make an escape through the door and back to the castle but the door slams close! The floor opens up even more and you are forced down a long fall. You slam against the ground disoriented. Standing up you notice the long chamber and it appears you are back near the start of this cursed complex.

Segment A: Back Into the Action

Emotions begin to fill against you as you realize that there may be no escape, and the same question begins to envelop you, "How did I get here?" Reluctance to continue on and the urge to self murder, you hear a hallowed, haunting whisper which is incomprehendable, and you decide to move forward.

Segment B: Writings on a Wall

Jump, jump, dash, fall. You make it through the hallway and turn left into another. This place seems more advanced than the area you started off in back before The Fall. You notice smudgings on the wall and you suddenly realize, you aren't the only one that has been here. You walk towards the wall and look closer, barely making out the word, Hamkara.

Segment C: Onwards and Onwards

You think back to your home on Arca and wonder what your S.O. and family are doing. Do they wish to get you back or do they miss you so? Both are likely, with one more likely than the other. One day you may get out, but it becomes apparent to you that this is not that day.

Chapter 2: The Decision

A loud voice begins to echo throughout the hall, blocking out all noise but your own.
GREETINGS ARCAN SOLDIER. MY NAME IS A.L.I. I AM THE ARTIFICIAL LISTENING INTELLIGENCE. I AM YOUR MASTER. YOU WISH TO LEARN THE ANSWER TO YOUR QUESTIONS? GO LEFT INTO THE HEAVENS! DISOBEY ME AND WISH TO SUFFER ETERNAL DAMNATION, GO RIGHT INTO THE UNDERWORLD. THE CHOICE IS YOURS.

Segment A: Gates of Hell

"Heavens!" You say to yourself, death. the only escape would be through the pits of hell. The heat begins to rise as you further yourself to a second gate and the screams of far off people envelop your soul. You think to yourself that you must fight a way out, a way home.

Segment B: Death's Canyon

The heat begins to attack you like a wolverine. Exaustion as always through this cursed complex. You fall to the floor and notice red writing, maybe blood, smudged into the ground. "Long live the Hamkarans."

Segment C: T.I.M.

You jump into a building, you are scared of complexes but this is the only way out. You walk forward.
"Hi!"
You jump backwards, not hearing the sound of another person for a day.
"How are you?"
"Who the hell are you," you ask.
"I am Telephoneticologisting Integrationalfluxcapacitors Mechanicalarama, or T.I.M."
"What, who, huh, WHAT?" You notice that this is not a person, but an artificial intelligence.
"Your in hell! So am I! Last time I drop the soap on boss' head. You want out of here, I tried the explode my way out of her but my only rocket went through the cell and blew up the other one of there. It leads back to Hamkara."
"What about you," you ask in return."
"I am almost dead, and when I die I cease to exist. Now go!"
You walk through the cell and ponder on what he said, he said the word Hamkara, the word you have seen twice before. Quickly turning around and rushing back towards him. "What is Hamkara?"
"You don't know about Hamkara? The Hamkarans channeled the energy of hell into a facility that opened up rifts across the planet to the underworld. The facility was an attempt to contain them but obviously it failed as they spread throughout the galaxy."
"Wait, are you a demon?" You ask in return.
"What! Of course not, I and boss were made by them to-" T.I.M. begins to shut down.
Continuing back through the tunnel, you have learned much more of your questions, but one remains. Why did I wake up there?

Chapter 2: Escape

Disoriented from the portal back to, Hamkara, you have no idea where you are. The instinct you have developed over the last day comes back to you. Forward.

Segment A: Pipe Hub

You remember back to before you fell, and saw tons of sewer pipes and different arrangment of pipes. Well here you recognize those same pipes, but at one location. Luckily there is no feces, on the ground, for the most part.

Segment B: Shafts

You hope to yourself that you will find a way out, and that you are near it.

Segment C: There is no Escape

You fall into a room trough a hole and notice a chamber with a bed, suddenly you hear the loud voice again.
HEY THERE! A.L.I.'S BACK! I HOPE YOU ENJOYED YOUR DAMNATION IN HELL. I SEE YOU ESCAPED FROM IT SO I GUESS YOU GOTS TO GO. YOU THOUGHT YOU WERE ABOUT TO LEAVE THE COMPLEX! FUNNY! HA. HA. HA. JUST WALK INTO THE STASIS CHAMBER AND I'LL LOCK YOU UP, NICE AND COZY. NICE AND COZY.
