DESCRIPTION:


While exploring the shore of the scenic Lake Ilinata, you stumble upton this shack, nestled in a small bay, suspended just above the calm waters.
The shack seems to have been abandoned, but after closer inspection, you realize that someone has made home for themselves here. No disturbances, no worries, just the chirp od the birds ashore, the low humming of the dragonflies over the lake, and quiet rustling in the trees.
Who might have chosen a live in solitude out here?


The little shack on the lake offers rest in a simple environment for anyone, who prefers the calm and solitude of a life in recluse. Here you can find a bed to rest, storage for your possessions, and a hardy meal.

LORE-FRIENDLNESS:

The mod is completely lore-friendly and immersive!


REQUIREMENTS:

Besides the Game itself, the mod doesn't require any other DLC.


LOCATION:

The map marker is located on the lake in Falkreath Hold, just east of Ilinltas Deep, and roughly across form Halfmoon Mill. You can see it clearly if you follow the shore.


OVERLAPS WITH OTHER MODS:

The location of the shack is almost exactly the same as that of the Astoria, which floats above the structure, but does not collide with it.
This might take a toll on player immersion, but doesn't cause any real problems.

Besides this, the mod should be compatible with any other mods.


CONTAINER-SAFETY:

All containers on, inside, or under the structure are safe for storage.


FOLLOWERS:

the whole area has been fully navmeshed, and any followers should be able to follow you around as usual.


GETTING THE KEY FOR THE STRONGBOX:

On the table just inside the first room, there is a note from the former inhabitant to a hunter, which mentions the hiding place of the money to pay for some furs. It is kept in a strongbox hidden under the bed. the key to it is located in an urn half buried just under the ramp that leads from the walkway down into the water.

This is an open world-space mod. So being on the boat WILL NOT protect you from enemies attacking you.

Some people may also complain about possible rain falling through the roof. This has to do with the way any precipitation in Skyrim works, and can't really be avoided without some immense changes to the game, and I simply lack the expertize to do so.
Also, as the roof of the shack clearly wouldn't keep out the rain very well, I think this just adds to the run-down atmosphere of the place ;)
