Here is the village of Arthwaite In Westmorland, in the romantic Eden Valley in Cumbria, or as the village's name points out, it was once in Westmorland. No, this is not quite the Lake District, but it's close to the Lakes and the Yorkshire Dales as well, as it's an ideal place for holidaymakers to explore the best of both worlds, you have Appleby In Westmorland just a mere 2 miles away *You can even see Appleby Castle in the Skybox*......and also nearby towns like Penrith and Kendal, plus with the Yorkshire Dales National Park extending it's borders, it will be even closer

The Ruins of the old Benedictine Abbey, Like the majority of abbeys in England, this one was destroyed during the reign of Henry the 8th...but the ruins are a major tourist attraction today....

Arthwaite Hall, The Manor House, Mansion, whatever There is actually doors that lead into 2 different halves of the property, but the owners of each half are best of friends....have a look around, and make it you home. In one of the bedrooms, there is also a little chamber organ that reputedly belonged to the organist of Carlisle Cathedral, before it was bought and housed in a church in Greater Manchester before that church closed in 2014, and it came here. UPDATE: It now can be played as well

The Church of St Peter & St Paul, a lot of treasures from the old abbey reside here.....and is like a lot of nearby Churches, It has a beautiful interior, has a ring of 10 bells, newly augmented, and an organ that you can play at the press of a button. UPDATE: A new recording of the hymn now plays...

If you go in the Methodist Church and find the Soldier from Remove Kebab, press the button and see what happens...:)

I am out of things to say....but Westmorland Lives on, from Appleby, Kirkby Stephen, Kendal, Kirkby Lonsdale, Windemere and now Arthwaite.....
