Aidylheid & VisSE [DX11] BloodStone

Description
Hello Engineers!

A small team of research scientists recently discovered at the fringes of explored space a never seen before kind of biological material during an asteroid dig, its rock but it is also flesh and thus they called it Bloodstone due to its blood like appearance.

Though found to be highly unstable and the unfortunate deaths of many researchers during failed experiments a method was found to successfully extract this new biomass from the asteroid rock it has binded to allowing for the bloodstone to be manipulated into a stabilised form that can be used to create new advanced technologies.

Current available items:

Large Ship

- Light BloodClot, Medium Flesh & Heavy Bone Armors
- Door
- Light (Amazing luminosity of the bloodstone allows up to 60 meters !)
- Advanced Ood Ship Brain

Small Ship

- Light BloodClot, Medium Flesh & Heavy Bone Armors

2 Strains of bloodstone have been found and identified in the explored universe, once analysed and identified to our shock after adjusting our ore detector’s sensors to find the biological material identifiers of bloodstone we found that this biomass has in fact spread throughout our entire inhabited space without prior detection. This is of great concern.

Technical Specifications:

Armors:

BloodClot Armor is same strength as Light Armor
Flesh Armor is same strength as Heavy Armor
Bone HeavyArmor is approx five times stronger than Heavy Armor

Functional Blocks

Door is stronger but not by much
Ood Brain functions as programmable block
Light functions as Interior Light – 60 Meters

Components made in Assembler:

BloodStone is refined to BloodStone Ingot and Organic.
BloodStone and Organic is therefore used to create Stabilised Flesh plates and BloodBone plates.
You will need NanoProbes to create the highly advanced Bone HeavyArmor, NanoProbes may seem a little expensive however please note these devices provide the majority of the Bone’s strength.

Other Stuff:

Ore and Resources work with Compression Mod

This mod utilises the yet unreleased Organic material that will be mined from Soil or Grass on planets. If any issues occur report them asap if we haven’t already noticed the issue and fixed it.

The Ood Brain is creepy

Construction Models are temporary and do not have any texture, they just provide a wireframe for better survival usage.

Enjoy!

Update 10/09/2015 - Maintenance update, fixed a couple of warnings in the log and increased component weight as the blocks where to light.
06/03/2016 - Fixed Ood Brain Programmable Block

Just to tell you the light on this mod is broken as it acts like a full block and doesn't put out any light.

something that bothers me is how flat the reflections are have you considered bump maps? also the flesh is a very small texture it might help to have some variation even if they are seperate blocks to break the pattern. but those are just my thoughts, what is here is nice
