Description
DISCLAIMER: due to real life obligations, I do not have time currently to do any modding. I won't support this mod anymore (or at least not in a near future). Sorry for the inconvenience

Mod made in collaboration with MystPhysX.

This mod brings a new machine to the game which will dig rocks, flints, gold, gems, moonrock stones and ton of other more or less useful items among which cave items (lightbulbs, ...). It will try to dig 8 times per day. The success of the digging process is configurable.

The crafting recipe for the Mining Machine is configurable. It uses the amount you decide of:
- Gears
- Doodads
- Boards
- Gold

You will first have to build a kit for the machine. Then deploy the kit, and finally assemble the kit into the final machine using a wrench (new items added in this mod).

You will find the kit in the STRUCTURE tab while the wrenches are in the TOOLS tab. There are 2 different wrenches. One which will break after one use but can be crafted from regular materials. The other one requires iron ore but is much more resistant.
The Tech Level is configurable. By default it is the Science Machine.

The results of the digging depends on the biome the machine is placed on (see table in the discussion list).

If the digging is successful it will store the dug item in an included storage. You can open it by beeing close to the machine and clicking on the trapdoor (on the left of the machine). It can only store the items which ere dug and cannot be used as a chest.

If the machine fails to dig something, it can jam. You will then have to unjam it by interacting with it with a wrench (the jam probability is configurable).

You can fuel the machine with regular burnable. The maximum uptime is 5 days.
You can try to input a mole in the machine, but the results is quite uncertain...

Two machines cannot be placed too close to each other.

By default the machine will leave remains upon destruction (like walls). It can be disabled in the mod config options. If you leave it on, you won't be able to remove the ruins of the machines. You can repair it though by using a new kit on top of the remains.

Beware : it can dig cave mobs as well...

Editing the loot table from an other mod or adding loot to custom turfs
It is now possible to edit from an other mod the loot table of my mining machine. If you create a mod which add new turfs, you can add a loot table corresponding to your new turfs if you want. You can also completly override my loot table with your own for existing turfs. You can find an explanation about how to do so in the discussion named "Adding turfs / Editing the loot table" (very easy, just don't mess with the names).

This mod introduce a new mob - (more coming, maybe? :-)

The Skeleton

It will spawn if a machine is turned on in a cemetry at night (80% probability). The skeletons are passive during the day and dawn, agressive at dusk and night. They stay quite close to the graveyard (but wander a bit further during the night). They have a powerful melee attack but are quite slow. They will throw bones at their target periodically while in battle. When they die, they drop bone shard (1-3), ashes (0-1), gold nuggets (0-1) and lantern(0-1).
The skeletons can be befriended using Telltale Hearts (up to 3 skeletons followers per player). A befriended skeleton will follow the player until the next dusk. At that moment, a random draw occur. If the draw is successful (85%) the skeleton will keep on following the player until the next dusk. Etc...
*Skeleton will remember that they have a leader even if he is disconnected. A skeleton with a disconnected leader will remain at the last known position of his leader. He will then start following him again when he reconnects (except if he looses the leadership during a dusk phase).
The skeletons will spanw with random clothes (Artwork by Neutral_Steve) because why shouldn't they be fancy as well?
I used as a base the skeleton from Spriter to which i added the required sprites and animation to make it 4 faced, frozen, etc...

This mod add a new material : iron ore.
The iron ore can be used to craft a more robust wrench (the basic one can be used just once). It can also be used in combination with my Archery Mod in some recipe. More use for the iron ore coming soon!

Please note:
- By default the machine slows down by 40% in winter (configurable).
- By default the machine will jam twice more often in summer (configurable).
